This is the BEST Curry I have ever had....so far !!!! Chicken Madras, Bombay Saag Potatoes, Onion Bhaji, Turmeric Rice, Garlic and Coriander Naan, Poppadom, with mango chutney, cucumber raita and minted onion salad. |

| 9 inch or 23cm cake tin 8oz / 250g Butter or Margarine 8oz / 250g Soft Brown Sugar 4 - 5 Eggs 2 Tablespoons Black Treacle 6oz / 150g Self Raising Flour 6oz / 150g Plain Flour Pinch of Bicarbonate of Soda Pinch of Salt 1 Teaspoon of Mixed Spice 2Lbs / 1000g Mixed Dried Fruit 4oz / 125g Glace Cherries (Quartered) 4 Tablespoons Sherry, Brandy, or Fruit Juice Bake for 1 Hour at 350F, then 2 1/2 - 3 hours at 175 - 300F Good Luck |
